Azbox HD Elite - No Signal Quality - No Voltage from Tuner

    HI,

I've had an Azbox elite for almost a year now, and have had no problems until recently. Suddenly I stopped getting signal on any channels. The box was sent back to the seller, who thought it was the LNB power setting, although this does not make any difference when I try scanning for channels.

    Things I've tried:

3x different dishes - one friend's sky minidish, one 80cm uni lnb pointed at astra, one building dish. The 80cm and the building dish work well with a dm800, signal 60% and 85% on the dreambox.

different firmwares - I've tried about 4 different firmwares, installed via internet, and via usb (with format app area first). versions 2880, 3661, 4829, 4890.

I cut a section from the coax cable to measure the voltage for the 80cm dish, on the dreambox I measured 12.5 and 17.5V under load. On the azbox I measure 0V for vertical and horizontal.

Here's an image of the LNB setup options (I've tried most of these) :

I can't think of anything else to try, anyone got any ideas? Any other settings / known problems with the LNB power?

    Thanks!!

Using overclock (hardware acceleration) can make the tuner to stop working.
If you are not using overclock, then maybe the only option is to get another tuner or use the warranty.

    (1) Have you tried a different transponder and V / H

    (2) Positioner Setup yours might be a fixed Dish ?.
But have you tried DiSEqC1.2 or USALS if you are using a motor ?.

    Hello,

Open your Azbox Elite and check that the motherboard of the power supply is not broken on one of its corner. When the Power Supply motherboard is broken in one of the corner (closed to the screw), everything works except the LNB power. So this sounds like the problem you have.
